Claire’s team of doctors and specialists see great potential in her. Like us, they can see just how intelligent she is. They can see the day when she moves independently; they can see the day when she is able to openly communicate. In short, there is great hope for better things to come.
Of course, for any of this to be a real possibility, hours upon hours of therapy will be necessary each week. Routine visits with specialists, including those in NY, are a must. Assistive devices and equipment will be a requirement. Most importantly, all must translate into the home for the greatest chance at success.
While Claire does have private health insurance, it is no different from yours – limited to typical visits for common needs. Rett Syndrome is far from “typical” and even farther from “common”.
An irrevocable trust has been established solely to provide for Claire’s ongoing care. Please consider contributing. 100% of your contribution directly supports her treatment – specialist visits, therapies, prescriptions, medical equipment, etc.
To contribute with a credit card, please click here.
NOTE: A processing charge is deducted from every online contribution (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). Please consider sending a check or money order which will allow Claire to receive your entire gift.
If you wish to mail a check or money order to the following address, Claire will receive your full contribution, as we will avoid the cost of the online credit card transaction.
Your support is greatly appreciated – thank you.
